Hi, I’m Greg. I’m a software developer, web programmer, and all-around nerd. This here is my “business site” where I attempt to attract new clients and talk shop.

node79 systems is my officially registered business name but rest assured, it’s just me and my laptop here in the home office or local café.

The short bio

I write computer code and have been doing so as a career for over ten years. On the “traditional” software development side, I’m working on Mac and iPhone development; from the web side, I do Perl, PHP, and Javascript work.

I enjoy long walks, use a Mac, and prefer four space indents.

Projects

What I do:

• Custom web software. Database-backed project managment systems and fantasy sports applications. AJAX-powered live chat. Polished user interfaces in standards-compliant HTML and Javascript. Server-side Perl and PHP.
• Application development. Mac and iPhone. I used to be a Windows developer back in the old days but we won’t speak of that.
• Content management systems. Configuration and maintenance for Movable Type, Wordpress, and Bricolage.
